Georgia Mom Beats ‘Out Of Control’ Daughter While Filming LIVE On Facebook (Video)

When a Georgia mother, Shanavia Miller, beat her “out of control” daughter while filming live on Facebook, it sparked social media outrage.

According to NY Daily Mail, when Miller learned that her 16-year-old daughter, Nia Green, posted provocative photos of herself and her boyfriend in a towel on Facebook, indicating that the pair just had sex, all h*** broke loose.

The five-minute video begins with the mother asking Green if she “wanted to be a little thot on Facebook” before hitting her with what appears to be a stick.

Miller initially believed that her daughter snapped the provocative photos in her home.

She also believed the duo had sexual intercourse in her house as well, but Green assured her that her assumptions were wrong.

The mother continued to beat her daughter, but she discarded the stick once the pair reached the kitchen, and that’s when she began using her fist.

Her daughter could be seen crying in a corner, protecting her face and torso, while her mother beat her “like a woman in the street,” according to countless social media users.

The video went viral, reaching millions of views, which is what Miller requested at the end of the video until she received backlash.

Miller deleted the video from Facebook, but it has since been uploaded to YouTube.

Those who saw the video were stunned, saying she should be criminally charged.

Some users sent the video to the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department.

The editor at the Daily Beast, Goldie Taylor, said that:

“This isn’t discipline. This is assault and she should be standing in front of a judge in handcuffs.”

A spokeswoman for the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department, Darnisha Green, stated that although Miller has not faced any charges, she “could still be criminally charged” for beating her daughter.

Green went on to say that:

“Our special victims unit looked into the case and officers talked to the mother and daughter.”

“Although the daughter said she felt safe in the home, the case has been referred to the Department of Family and Children Services.”

After receiving backlash from the Facebook video, Miller posted a response, stating that:

“I love my daughter with all my heart, whatever happens after this, oh well.”

“My daughter is not going to disrespect me or herself for nobody that s— Bernie Mac. Nothing changed. She still my baby girl. Lesson learned. Now have a blessed day.”
