Milwaukee Man Accused Of Drowning 3-Month-Old Baby In Pond After Argument With Girlfriend (VIDEO)

Milwaukee police arrested a 25-year-old man, Sean A. Flowers, after he drowned his 3-month-old baby boy, Isaac, in a pond, according to NBC Chicago.

On Saturday, July 30, Flowers attended a family party inside an apartment on N. 75th Street on the Northwest side with his girlfriend, whose name has not been released, and his infant child.

The party came to an abrupt end when Flowers became angry at his girlfriend for doing a split in front of everyone.

He grabbed his baby and threatened to throw him in the pond before storming out of the apartment.

Due to his violent history, party-goers chased after him, attempting to get the child to safety but it was to no avail.

Flowers became violent.

The father of two punched his own sister in the face when she tried to take the baby from him.

Friends and family members begged and pleaded with him, but he walked into the pond while holding the infant.

Witnesses say they could hear the baby crying hysterically, but not only after Flowers went deeper into the pond up to his chest, the crying stopped.

Joey Griffin, who was at the pond, said:

“Without thinking, I just ran into the water. I yelled at him ‘where’s the baby? Where’s the baby?’

“And then I saw a baby floating in the water. I grabbed it. I tried to swim away with it.

“He lunged at me and took the baby again and swam further, deeper. We all lost. We all lost this one.”

“No matter what you do, no matter how hard you try, sometimes you just lose.”

“No matter how hard you try. You just wish you would have done more.”

Milwaukee police arrived at the scene and they were able to find the infant’s body in the pond.

Paramedics performed CPR but they were unsuccessful.

The baby died at the scene.

Milwaukee police arrested Flowers at the scene, and he is now facing charges of:

“First-degree intentional homicide” in the death of his 3-month-old baby boy.”

Flowers made his first court appearance Tuesday, where a judge set his bail at $1 million.

If Flowers is found guilty of the charges, he could face life in prison.

Correction: Sean A. Flowers is the name of the man accused of drowning a baby. An earlier version of this story incorrectly identified Joey Griffin as this person.
