Polls Show Men Think Sexism Is Over – Especially Republican Men (VIDEO)

Let’s talk about sexism with some experts….men. A Pew Research Study said that 56 percent of men believe that sexism is over. A majority of women, 63 percent, say that women are still facing obstacles.

Only 48 percent of Republican women say that there are still obstacles for women. Men were also divided by party on this question; 75 percent of Republican men say that sexism is dead. Only 39 percent of Democratic men say that sexism is gone.

The report didn’t mention things like sexual assault or body-shaming. We have a rape culture gone rampant here. Obviously, women are still being targeted and degraded. At least we can have a female president.

Bustle reported:

“No matter your gender, you’ve experienced the repercussions of living in a patriarchal society; the only difference is that it’s easiest to see how the patriarchy hurts women. (Or so you’d think.) Instead, I invite you to participate in the most exaggerated eye roll seen on this earth since John Hughes stopped making movies. It won’t accomplish much, but at least it’s guaranteed to make you feel better in the short term.”

As if these findings weren’t dumb enough, there are actually men who think they are victims of sexism. This will make you do a whole lot more than an eye roll. I’m leaving the grammatical errors to further highlight the stupid:

“Despite all the pressures and risks facing men today support services for men are almost non existent compared to services for women. There are departments for women’s issues in the White House and the UN, but none for men. The UN promotes genital mutilation of male children but condems female genital mutilation. This is Real Sexism.”

Then, there was this gem:

“Women also consume two third of public spending, there are 3 times the amount of gender specific health services for women than mendespite the fact that for equal increases in health spending a man’s life expectancy rate increases nearly twice as much as a woman’s.”

Until men can get pregnant and push a baby out of you-know-where, they don’t need to be complaining about healthcare. Women’s bodies are more complicated.
