Q&A For Trump’s Saturday ‘Outreach’ To African-Americans Has ALREADY Been Scripted

Tomorrow, Donald Trump will travel to Detroit to attend a worship service at an African-American church. It’s part of his “outreach” to black voters. Trump is doing this even though he currently has only one percent (one percent!) support among African-Americans in polls and even though he has nothing at all to offer them except the same old crap about walls and no Muslims.

After the service, there will be an interview/Q&A session conducted by the pastor of Great Faith Ministries International, Bishop Wayne T. Jackson. And according to a report from the New York Times, all of the questions from Jackson and the replies Trump will give have been scripted by the Trump campaign.

According to the Times, black Republican Party members insisted that the GOP nominee, speak to Jackson’s congregation for at least 10 minutes as part of his service. But campaign staff pushed for the interview instead, saying that they were not comfortable with Trump actually speaking to the congregation.

OK, so lemme see if I have this straight: Trump is a tough guy who says he can stand toe-to-toe with any world leader, but he cannot stomach giving a speech to an audience of black people? Where I come from, we call that wimping out.

When asked about the report from the New York Times, campaign spokesperson Hope Hicks commented:

“As you know, Mr. Trump is an unscripted candidate. He is genuine and authentic, but not unprepared. Mr. Trump looks forward to attending what is sure to be an important event on Saturday.”

And yet, the script for the event clearly gives Trump detailed suggestions regarding some questions. According to the script, Bishop Jackson will ask Trump if he thinks he is running a racist campaign. In response, Trump is advised to avoid repeating the word “racist.”

In lieu of saying “racist,” Trump is told to respond:

“The proof, as they say, will be in the pudding. Coming into a community is meaningless unless we offer an alternative to the horrible progressive agenda that has perpetuated a permanent underclass in America.”

Most meaningless of all is the campaign of Donald Trump, who is, despite what Hope Hicks says, completely fake and totally inauthentic. He is a con man, a grifter, and a racist. The sooner we get this man off the national stage, the better our country and world will be.
