More Republicans Line Up To Praise Tim Kaine: ‘He Will Be A Good Influence’ (VIDEO)

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton has a secret weapon and his name is Tim Kaine.

Why? Because even Republicans have good things to say about him.

In fact, Republicans seem more in love with this Democratic vice presidential nominee than they are about their own presidential candidate Donald Trump. Who can blame them?

Here’s what Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) who is also the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, has to say about Kaine:

“He could be a tremendous asset. He understands the issues, he cares about having an outcome and I think he could be very effective with working with people here.”

Another Republican Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) had this to say:

“I don’t know anybody on the Republican side who has a bad thing to say about him. He doesn’t go out of his way to go after people politically and he’s all about policy.”

What higher compliment can be paid to a politician?

Although Obama has ended his second term as a very popular president it hasn’t been without it’s challenges. From the start of his first term President Obama and the Republican Congress have been at odds. Kaine could help repair the contention and create a bridge.

In the past, Kaine has been the head of the Democratic National Committee, as well as, a Virginia governor who has gone toe to toe with the state’s GOP.

However, there are more than a few Republicans who’ve recently said that they hope Kaine’s relationships with the GOP pays off in passing favorable legislation. As well, many Republicans hope to see a more active Kaine vice presidency than Vice President Joe Biden’s has been.

Presuming of course, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is elected to the White House.

The GOP long for a force at the top who is more bipartisan-minded and a straight shooter who can actually make Republicans want to work across the aisle. Something both Obama and Biden have had difficulty doing in large measure.
