In a little more than two months time, President Obama will hand over the reins of power to Donald Trump. That’s a sobering and sad fact we’re all going to have to try and come to grips with.
As a way to pay tribute to this man who has been such a great President and role model for how to live an honorable, distinguished life and also serve your country, a new hashtag has been born on Twitter: #ThankYouObama. Here’s some of the posts you can find there, and something tells me there will be thousands–maybe even millions–more before January 20 arrives. Thank you, President Obama. We are going to miss you more than we can ever convey with words.
Thank you God for allowing me to witness a President & First Lady that look like me. It reassures that anything is possible! #ThankYouObama
