Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is notorious for promoting violence to his cult following, which includes people who scoffed at his locker room tape. He’s even called upon gun enthusiasts if Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is elected:
In addition to promoting physical violence, he recently claimed the entire election is rigged because current polls show Clinton is in the lead. But now he’s asking his supporters to make sure no one is messing with ballots:
“… Look, look, if nothing else, people are going to be watching on November 8. Watch Philadelphia. Watch St. Louis. Watch Chicago, watch Chicago. Watch so many other places.”
Eddie Fulmer of Alabama already has plans to bring his gun while casting his ballot for Trump:
“People are going to vote just like they walk around in daily life.”
Trump once agreed with Clinton about needing tougher gun laws, but the majority of his supporters are obsessed with their right to bear arms.

So what does this mean for people not voting for Trump? It means having his voters leer behind you with a gun strapped to their waist. It means having people who are told the election is rigged by a man they glorify ready to open fire.

Bringing a gun to the polls isn’t illegal in most of the country, either. There are currently only six states that won’t allow you to bring one into a government building.
With a nation that’s already been riddled with mass shootings, poll workers in Colorado are getting ready to deal with the worst possible scenario: a massacre among people who are simply casting their votes.
Another state is being proactive about guns on election day. Virginia government officials are looking into a one day ban on open carry in government buildings, according to an article by the Washington Post.
