TREASON – Republicans In The US Senate Are Involved – Arrest Them All

In breaking news today it has been revealed that several U.S. administrators have been dabbling in international relations in a direct effort to undermine President Obama. Although he refused to identify which administrators were involved, Ali Shamkhani, the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) stated:

“In the course of the talks for exchanging prisoners, the Republican rivals of the current US administration who claim to be humanitarians and advocates of human rights sent a message telling us not to release these people (American prisoners) and continue this process (of talks) until the eve of US presidential elections,”

Even without a list of names, we can surmise who was involved in this treasonous activity based on a previous history of similar acts of treason against this country originating in the republican-controlled U.S. Senate.

In March 2015 we learned about a letter written by Senator Tom Cotton from Arkansas that was signed by 46 other Republican members of the senate. That letter clearly violated the Logan Act. Citizens called for the arrest of these men under charges of treason. That didn’t happen. It was reported then:

“The clear intent of Tom Cotton’s open letter was to disrupt and derail any and all talks of peace with Iran. It is clear that the not so subtle threats aimed at the Iranian government in the letter were designed to tell Iran that our president had no power to enter into deals with foreign governments unless ‘they’ approved of the deal.”

The senators that signed that letter were also admonished by Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif:

“. . . some members of the U.S. Congress find it appropriate to write to leaders of another country against their own president and administration. Adding that the 47 senators who signed the letter not only do not understand international law, but are not fully cognizant of the nuances of their own Constitution when it comes to presidential powers in the conduct of foreign policy.”

As if that wasn’t bad enough, several members of the senate were found in December to have accepted bribes from the Israeli government to obstruct the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the nuclear deal between the U.S., Iran, and several other countries that would remove sanctions from Iran in exchange for dismantling their nuclear weapons program.

In this recent treasonous act, the members of the senate that were involved should be stripped of their positions and tried under the laws of this country. Their actions are in direct violation of our laws and would serve to promote unease on a world stage at a time when peace is tantamount. They swore an oath to this country, but their actions, now on three separate occasions, prove that they have no true allegiance to the country at all.

UPDATE: On February 12, Snopes reported that this claim was “unproven” but they offered very little to substantiate that claim, other than doing what appeared to be a slam piece on Occupy Democrats more than an actual evaluation of the topic at hand. With that in hand, we will leave this standing to allow readers to make their own determination. Given the KNOWN behavior in the past of these senate members, though, the scenario is very believable.
