Donald Trump Jr: Dad Called Him A ‘Loser’ When He Was FOUR (VIDEO)

I’m a parent. I assume many people reading this are parents. There are just certain things you don’t say to little kids. In 2006, Donald Trump Jr. talked about what his dad said to him when he was little.

‘My Son Is A Loser’

In an appearance on “The Big Idea” on CNBC, Donald Trump Jr. was talking about being a billionaire and his childhood came into the discussion. He told the host what his father, current Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, would say to him every morning:

“Seven o’clock in the morning, I’m going to school—hugs, kisses, and he used to say a couple things. ‘No smoking, no drinking, no drugs.’ I think a great lesson for any kid. But then he followed up with: ‘Don’t. Trust. Anyone. Ever.’ And, you know, he’d follow it up two seconds later with, ‘So, do you trust me?’ I’d say, ‘Of course, you’re my dad.’ He’d say, ‘What did I just—’ You know, he thought I was a total failure. He goes, ‘My son’s a loser, I guess.’ Because I couldn’t even understand what he meant at the time. I mean, it’s not something you tell a four-year-old, right? But it really means something to him.”

First off, let’s talk about calling a child a “loser.” Is it any wonder that Trump would say something like that to his own child? He’s on record calling all sorts of people losers, after all. However, to say that to a four-year-old, as Trump Jr. claims he was when this was said, is beyond disgusting.

‘Don’t. Trust. Anyone. Ever.’

That part about trusting people, though – that really bothers me. Considering the fact that those words came from a man who is running for president, it’s one of the many things that demonstrates how completely unqualified he is for the job.

The president of the United States cannot act alone. He (She!) must be able to trust and listen to advisors on various issues. He (SHE!) must have the capacity to listen to people with more knowledge in different areas and TRUST them.

And apparently Donald Trump is lacking that very basic quality.
