Romney Rips Trump For Condoning Sexual Assault (TWEET/VIDEO)

Carrying a heavy hammer, 2012 Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney used Twitter to let the world know how outraged he was by the crude Trump video we reported on October 7, 2016.

In our coverage, we outlined quotes from the video, including:

“I moved on her and I failed. I’ll admit it… I did try and f*** her. She was married.”

“I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there, and she was married. Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony tits and everything. She’s totally changed her look.”

Notice how, even in 2005, Trump’s response to being told “no” was to degrade and insult the woman that had the nerve to turn him down?

Trump continues throughout the video, being vile and disgusting. In one quote he outlines how he routinely commits sexual assault on unsuspecting women:

“I’ve gotta use some tic tacs, just in case I start kissing her. You know, I’m automatically attracted to beautiful… I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait… And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything!”

He continued, but the most disgusting thing he said, and the deal-breaker for many in the Republican party, was:

“Grab them by the pussy; you can do anything!”

Trump’s remarks were recorded as he and Billy Bush, then of Access Hollywood, were on their way to visit the set of a soap opera where The Donald was appearing as himself. The microphone was on. After all, Bush was interviewing Trump about the television appearance:

Romney’s Tweet

Romney had already made it clear that he would not support Trump, so his reaction was fairly predictable. But other Republicans were piling on as well.

Mr. Romney? Thank you for sticking up for us… BUT… Trump’s actions are degrading and demeaning to us. Real women. Not just because we’re your wives and daughters, but because we are human beings. Just thought you should know.
