Sarah Palin, speaking at the National Rifle Association’s “Stand and Fight” rally in Indianapolis on Saturday, sent a clear message to terrorists.
“Come on. Enemies, who would utterly annihilate America, they who’d obviously have information on plots, to carry out Jihad. Oh, but you can’t offend them, can’t make them feel uncomfortable, not even a smidgen,”?she said. “Well, if I were in charge, they would know that?waterboarding is how we’d baptize terrorists.”

Palin’s remarks were aimed at the Obama administration’s efforts for diplomacy.
I try hard to resist writing about what I call “GOP Mouth.” That list (yes, I really have an actual list) includes?Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, et al.?These goofs have become largely un-newsworthy. It’s not that what they say doesn’t matter anymore. They’re as dangerous as ever as they continue to brainwash and hypnotize their foolish followers on the right.
We have generally stopped writing about these clowns because Liberal America readers (and all intelligent Americans) aren’t really interested in reading about them anymore.?We’ve become numb to the dumb stuff they say. We know that they continue to take their insanity to new higher levels so that they can sell whatever it is they’re selling?- a?book, a TV show, advertising, their souls, or whatever.
But this is different. What Sarah Palin said is seriously dangerous. Are we really going to go back to the thinking of the Crusades? I wonder if she knows that what she’s “joking” about is a war crime.
Is this a career killer for Sarah? Can she really get by with saying things like this??Can we expect outrage from the right? I don’t think we should hold our collective breath.
