Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) is unashamedly ignorant about climate change. In fact, he’s proud to say “there’s no scientific evidence” that proves that human beings are contributing to the global problem. But he does know the science about one thing, he says: abortion.

When asked by Sean Hannity to clarify his recent comments about climate change, Sen. Rubio explained.

“A couple of things. The climate is changing, the climate is always changing. The scientists can look at that and see.”

He explained that there’s a second question, though, and that is “what is man’s role in it.”

“Here’s what more important as a policy maker. Their claim is that if we stop doing certain things, that will change back. That’s absurd. In fact, even in the very reports that they cite, they admit that’s the case.”

But then Hannity threw him for a little loop. He mentioned the French Foreign Minister goes to Washington on Thursday and the comments by him that?we have 500 days to avoid climate chaos.” He asked Sen. Rubio if he thinks this is “alarmism.”

Rubio completely skirted the question. After all, there is no American Democrat to blame in that scenario, so he feels safer with another topic?about which he knows nothing — abortion.

“Here’s what I get a kick out of. This shows you the hypocrisy. all these people always wag their fingers at me about science and settled science. Let me give you a bit of settled science that they will never admit to. Science has settled — it’s not even a consensus, it’s a unanimity — that human life begins at conception. So I hope the next time someone wags their fingers about scinece, they’ll ask one of these leaders on the left ‘do you agree with the?consensus?of scientists that say that human life begins at conception.’ I’d like to see someone ask that question. It’s never asked, and that’s not even a debate thing. We can actuyally see that happening. I’mean, that’s a proven fact, yet no one….no one….that’s a?scientific?consensus?that they continue to choose to ignore.”

Hannity, said gravely “That’s very well said.”

Well, no. It?wasn’t well-said at all. It’s idiotic. Rubio knows nothing about abortion. The topic they were discussing has nothing to do with abortion. Listen below.
