While the name Christine Weick may not instantly register with us right away, she not only crashed the first ever Muslim prayer at the Washington National Cathedral, she is also probably best known on the internet as the woman that so ?expertly? explained in a video, that the energy drink Monster is actually the work of Satan. Even going so far as to consult the Hebrew alphabet to make her case.
Since leaving people shaking their heads over her religious rant, it seems Christine could not fight the spiritual urge to drive from Tennessee, all the way to Washington, just to disrupt the service that was held last Friday. Evidently, the service that was meant as a call for ?religious unity in the face of extremist violence and hate,? according to the Washington Post, was just too much to take for her to take.
Addicting Info also reports that Christine had ?read about the service on the Drudge report and immediately knew what her mission was.? As Christine says:
?My blood began to boil as I read the comments of how this is to be such a wonderful event and how religious tolerance can, for the first time, be shown in our nation’s capital.?
So the 50-year-old aspiring martyr drove her SUV?(which, by the way, doubles as her home)?to the cathedral, because nothing screams out ?Christian beliefs? like being opposed to religious tolerance and disrupting other’s services.
So as the service started, Christine made her way to the front of the cathedral and began to make a scene. After being escorted off of the property, she then started her trek back home. In an interview with World Net Daily, Christine goes into detail regarding the incident, as well as shedding light on the circumstances that led to her living out of her SUV. Which surprise, has to do with her intolerant religious views.
Now with so much violence attributed to Islam lately, some people seem to always need a reminder that Islam is a religion, Muslims are a people. And while there is a large majority of Muslims that do practice Islam, not all of them are ready to strap a bomb on and kill innocent women and children.
As with any race, religion, or organization in general, there are always those that give each one a bad name. And to those Christians that use the argument that Islam is not a peaceful religion, have you really read your entire Bible? Let’s not forget the whole ?Freedom of Religion? thing that the Constitution speaks of.
While it is her right to believe and speak her mind regarding her religious beliefs, I hope Christine seeks the psychological help she evidently needs. Until then, I can’t wait to see what ?Monster Mom? has up her sleeve next.
