Sarah Palin Is Fundraising For Hillary Clinton’s Campaign – Seriously!

Behind on bills? Low on cash? In need of funds? Well, all you have to do to drum up quick money is piss off Sarah Palin, apparently, because that recently did wonders?for supporters of Hillary Clinton for president.

Speaking at the Iowa Free Summit last weekend, the former Alaska governor and one-time VP candidate waved a ?Ready for Hillary? magnet sticker with sarcastic intent.

“I’m ready for Hillary, are you? Are you coming? [?] Hey Iowa, can anyone stop Hillary? To borrow a phrase, ‘Yes we can!’ And it starts here and it starts now.”

The Ready for Hillary PAC quickly responded, but not with counterpunch. Instead, the team used the incident as a fundraising tool. An email and Twitter campaign was quickly blasted, complete with link to a donation website that read:

?Sarah Palin says Republicans will be ready for Hillary. Let’s show her she’s wrong. Chip in $20.16 or more today ? and we’ll send you your own Ready for Hillary car magnet!?

And the result of this spontaneous sarcasm? $25,000 in contributions made through that webpage in just one day. So impressed was the Hillary for President PAC that it even offered Palin an honorary spot on their team in a Jan. 27 statement to media:

?Sarah Palin inadvertently gave herself a new title ? Co-Chair of Ready for Hillary’s National Finance Council!

Yesterday, we sent an email to our supporters telling you how Sarah Palin held up a Ready for Hillary car magnet during a recent speech.

The response we got was overwhelming ? hundreds of supporters stepped up and Sarah ended up raising Ready for Hillary over $25,000 in grassroots donations.

Here’s the kicker ? by raising $25,000, Sarah officially qualifies as a Co-Chair of our National Finance Council.

(We will wait until Sarah calls before officially adding her name to the list.)?

Lesson to be learned, folks. To do your own fundraising, just send an angry message to Palin through her PAC’s website or by Twitter, and who knows? If you?piss?her off enough, you?might find yourself rolling in contributions, too!
