Arkansas State Rep. Pushing For Nuclear War With ISIS

Oh boy, I love, Love, LOVE reading and writing about Arkansas State Sen. Jason Rapert aka “Jase Rape.”?This is the guy who fought for a six-week abortion ban in Arkansas, in case you don’t remember who he is. Now he’s calling for the U.S. to begin a nuclear war with ISIS, an organization that….well….doesn’t exactly have a country. They don’t have a specific spot of land where they all live. ISIS is sort of all over the place.

Here’s what he said:

Facing some backlash from some of his own constituents and supporters, he attempted to clarify his points. See below.

This morning (Tuesday), he posted a VERY long-winded rebuttal to the criticism he’s faced nationally to his awesome World War III idea. Mostly he blamed bloggers Michael Cook, Matt Campbell and Max Brantley for creating the “online media frenzy.” I mean, it couldn’t have been his remarks that actually shocked people, could it? That’s his reasoning.

And then he made this very confusing statement:

I personally never advocate violence as an aggressor, but I fully support using all means of military force, weaponry and tactics to defend the American people, to defend innocent people around the world and to neutralize the forces of evil wherever they may be.

OK wait, Jase Rape. Do you not consider a “strategically placed nuclear weapon” (your words) violence? Do you not consider that military force is violence?

And he said this:

I am not responsible for the outrageous commentary and misrepresentation of bloggers who purposely distorted my words for their own political purposes.

All we’ve done is report the dumbsh*t you say, Rapert.

I’d tell Jase Rape these things myself, but I was banned from his Facebook page and his Twitter account when I wrote about the racism he displayed in the video below.

In the video, he lies about Pres. Obama not attending the prayer breakfast, and he then informs the president that he doesn’t represent the U.S.

“I hear you loud and clear, Barack Obama. You don’t represent the country that I grew up in.”

And the U.S. belongs to the Lord!

“We’re going to try to take this country back for the Lord.”

And best of all:

“We’re not going to allow minorities to run roughshod over what you people believe in.”

Watch:

I used to be amused by this guy. I used to think that he was so over the top that he would ensure his own demise. I’m no longer amused by him. His ilk is become more and more dangerously mainstream. Arkansas conservatives re-elected him so they seem to agree with him. Do they also agree that we should start World War III?
