In an interview with?CNN, likely 2016 GOP hopeful Dr. Ben Carson was asked if he thought homosexuality was a choice. His response:
“Absolutely, Because a lot of people who go into prison, go into prison straight straight. And when they come out, they’re gay. So did something happen while they were in there? Ask yourself that question.”
When asked about gay marriage, Carson said this:
“Why do gay people want to get married?” He said. “Because they want to have various rights ? property rights, visitation rights. Why can’t any two human beings, I don’t care what their sexual orientation is, why can’t they have the legal right to do those things? OK, that does not require changing the definition of marriage.”
This is one of many gems of wisdom the good doctor has shared with us since his time in the GOP limelight. I am sure that he will impart more of his incredible knowledge onto the unwashed masses in the near future. Dr. Ben Carson proves that you don’t need to be a brain surgeon to be a complete moron.
