In a country where it is sadly no longer surprising to see police attack the rights of citizens, the following video turned viral video doesn’t come as a surprise.

A man who began filming a police officer he says was driving around his Rohnert Park, California, neighborhood repeatedly is confronted by the police officer in the most childish of manners. The police officer visibly shows himself filming the man filming him in order to, what we can only assume, portray his dominance over the man. But when the man doesn’t stop filming the cop, the cop gets out of his vehicle and tells the man to get his hands out his pockets.
When the man doesn’t get his hand out of his pocket the police officer proceeds to draw his gun on the unarmed man. This, of course, is a clear example of a cop wanting to have the complete respect of everyone, and also a clear picture of what happens when you don’t give that cop the respect he wants. Luckily, the cop is being investigated and is on vacation; it is unclear, though probable, as to whether or not this is a forced vacation.
