Bobby Jindal may have just lost one of the few endorsements he had, and since the person changing allegiances lives in Louisiana, this might mean Jindal’s campaign is indeed on life support.
Willie Robertson, star of the reality show Duck Dynasty on A&E Network, said on Friday at the Oklahoma State Fair:
“I do like me some Trump, I’ve got to admit. Here’s the deal. We’re both successful businessmen. We both have pretty big shows on television. We both have wives that are 1,000 times better looking than us, so I like Trump.”
Thus was born a political alliance of a backwoods Bible-thumping racist and a xenophobic real estate mogul who wants to wall the United States off from the rest of the world. A match made in heaven. Correction: Made in hell.
When told of the switch by Willie Robertson, Jindal’s campaign refused to believe it was genuine. Campaign spokesman Kyle Plotkin tweeted:
Bobby & Willie chatted this weekend. Willie obviously admires Trump’s business acumen. But he’s for Bobby for President.

Also, as of Monday evening, Jindal’s Twitter account still featured a photo of the Louisiana Governor with Robertson:

Clearly, no matter the new allegiance of Willie Robertson, the Jindal campaign, such as it is, is taking on water and failing miserably. He is often mentioned as the next GOP candidate to drop out of the 2016 race.
