Trump Continues His Misogyny In CNN Interview

CNN “New Day” host, Chris Cuomo, is known for not holding back when it comes to interviewing politicians. While he can seem rough at times, the host is also known for being fair. This was the case when he got into a heated interview with Donald Trump Wednesday.

During the interview, Trump rambled on about polls, crowd sizes, and of course, the media. This is when he took the chance to go after CNN political reporter Sara Murray, who had covered a book signing by Trump the day before, by saying:

“Yesterday, other than Sara Murray didn’t report it very well, because she never flips the camera to show the lines. I think she’s absolutely terrible, your reporter… and if you listen to Sara Murray you’d think there were three people standing in the atrium of Trump Tower.”

So Trump has a problem with reporters not flipping the camera? Sounds like a good political talking point to me. Regardless, by this time, Cuomo stepped in by saying:

“No, no, no, no, no, that’s not the way she did it. That’s the way you took it.”

While the host continued to defend his CNN colleague, Trump went on to slam the reporter:

“She has no idea. Either she’s a very unemotional person or she’s not a very good reporter. One or the other… She never reports on my crowd sizes. You know we have the biggest crowds. She shows her face and never scans the room and shows the tremendous crowds that I’m getting. You know it’s one of those things, I mean, maybe she’s a low-key individual that doesn’t believe in showing crowds… I guarantee you this, if Sara Murray, if there was nobody at the book signing, Sara Murray, she would have covered it. Then she would have shown all the empty space, but instead of that the place was packed, and she gives a very inaccurate story. Now, I don’t know if that’s because she’s incompetent, or she doesn’t like me, or maybe she’s given instructions from up above. Who knows? I don’t really care.”

This just continues to show Trump’s knack for throwing out words and hoping that they stick. Now, this latest attack was so out there that even Megyn Kelly, host of “The Kelly File,” defended Murray. I have a strange feeling that this will draw the ire of many Republicans — which, has happened before.

In the end, Trump ended up looking like the person we all know he is — a pathetic, arrogant, paranoid, misogynistic blow-hard who has no business running this country.
