Donald Trump Gets Called Out In Epic Fashion At The Latin Grammy Awards

While he may enjoy bragging about his poll numbers now, Donald Trump will eventually realize that being a misogynistic hate-filled racist has caught up to him. With that in mind, this past Thursday night some of the performers at the Latin Grammy Awards sent a message that is sure to resonate throughout the presidential race.

During the highly entertaining show, the California band Los Tigres del Norte, and the Mexican rock band Mana, performed the song “Somos Mas Americanos.” Translated it means, “We Are More American.” Now at the end of the performance, the bands held up a banner that read: “Latinos Unidos No Voten Por Los Racistas!” The banner translated reads: “United Latinos Don’t Vote For Racists!”

It didn’t take long for people to take to Twitter and make the connection to Trump. One doesn’t have to go too far back to remember how Trump described Mexicans and other South Americans. Actually, as USA Today reports, the lead singer of Mana, Fher Olvera, has gone after Trump before by telling the crowd at a concert in Los Angeles:

“He said we were trash, he said that the people who came from Latin America and Mexico are rapists, thugs, and drug dealers. Those were his words. We feel pity for this incompetent man. I have never heard a speech as violent, or as filled with hatred – not since Hitler.”

With everything that Trump has said up to this point regarding the Latin community, it’s only a matter of time before his delusions comes crashing down. If you also take into account all that the Latin community is doing to fight back, Trump will be back to reality television in 2016.

Lastly, the group Mana ended the night by urging the Latin community to go to somosmas2016.com, where they can make a pledge and register to vote.
