A GOP member of the Texas State House of Representatives has been caught redhanded posting his thoughts on his own personal fondness for marijuana and also saying that marital rape is “nonexistent,” so married men should “take what you want.”

Using the profile name “Stick,” Representative Jonathan Stickland was responding to a question about sex with his wife in a comment he posted on a fantasy football discussion forum in 2008. Here’s what Stickland wrote:

“Rape is non existent in marriage, take what you want my friend!”

In another comment Stickland posted, he said he wanted to try and cheat on a drug test:

“They are stupid for doing this to me. I am the residential manager. Lead company in sales every month and now we will see how they respond. I smoke weed MAYBE 2-3 times a year?”

“Stick” also claimed that he had purchased a “detox drink” and was looking for a “smoke buddy” before he posted his email address: [email protected].

Keep in mind this is the very same Jonathan Stickland who is fond of calling himself a “Christian conservative liberty loving Republican” when he posts on Twitter. He also loves to boast that “by the Grace of God my past sins are forgiven.”

When contacted for comment on the allegations from his posting about spousal rape and drug usage, the normally verbose Stickland would only respond with a one word tweet:

And so yet again we see what massive hypocrites many of these so-called “conservative Christian Republicans” are. Disgusting does not even begin to describe what they truly are.
