WATCH: Susan Sarandon Says ’Drunk Uncle Trump’ Has Normalized Hatred And Racism

Oscar-winning actress and Bernie Sanders supporter Susan Sarandon’s interview on TYT  has gone viral on Youtube after she likened Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump to a drunk uncle at a wedding. She laughed in disbelief when saying:

“I can’t believe for a second, that America would actually make Donald Trump the President.”

Sarandon stated there are sane Republicans out there, and they must be so embarrassed of what’s going on right now. She continued:

“He reminds me of your drunk uncle at at wedding, who gets up and starts talking, and just loves the crowd and goes on and on and on and says whatever he can to get a reaction.”

She concluded that he’s not someone she can take seriously, because he doesn’t have any consistency, or rationality, or anything, and went on to explain her concerns:

“He’s made hatred and racism normal. He’s normalized it. He’s taken this current of discontent that’s looking to blame somebody, and he’s legitimized those feelings, and that, I think, is a very dangerous thing.”

The interview was conducted by Reporter Jordan Chariton on Young Turks Network in Mason City, IA, after a rally in which she introduced presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders.
