A Chip Off Ye Olde Block: Donald Trump’s Grandfather Was A Really Nasty Guy

With the general election drawing near, the surviving candidates remain under the spotlight of eternal scrutiny. No truer is this than for Donald Trump – who many believe is running a campaign based on xenophobia and mass fear.

While his political platform is controversial at best, it is The Donald’s grandfather that is now the main focus of several political opponents and pundits. As a German-born American businessman, Frederick Trump made a fortune as a proprietor of several brothels and boom-town hotels.

Known as “The Fred.” Grandpa Trump secured his family’s fortune by exploiting the miseries of other common folk. In fact, Fred’s so-called family fortune was nothing more than revenue driven from stolen land, fraudulent schemes, and booze induced prostitutes.

Now how can a presidential candidate boast about his personal and acquired wealth when it is mainly derived from unscrupulous and immoral family practices? One would think that such a moral figure would have an unblemished and unspotted past? Platforms that would effectively attract and engage hard-working Americans from all walks of life.

For Grandpa Fred, however, it was his venture into the red-light district of Seattle that helped build an empire of greed and immorality. His claim to fame was opening up a restaurant called the Poodle Dog in 1891. This venue had a fully staffed kitchen and bar – but was known for much more than mouth-watering entrees and delicacies.

In fact, the restaurant had several “private rooms for ladies”, which drew in countless locals and patrons for enticing food and ready made whores. While the venue was later rechristened the Dairy Restaurant, it was nothing more than a brothel for the frustrated masses that wanted to relieve their daily tensions and stress.

Pimp Daddy Fred would later go into a joint venture with a business partner, Ernest Levin. The dynamic duo partnered to create the New Arctic Restaurant and Hotel. Situated in Bennett Town, the venue continued to attract the masses with their fine meals, alcohol, and especially the ladies of the night.

For a legacy that was built on selling food and sex to gold miners in Washington and Yukon Territory, it’s hard to imagine how Donald Trump can make America great again. The following video about his grandfather’s commercial exploits says it all:

Before casting your vote this November, remember what the Donald represents and the cloth he is spawned from.
