Family Values King Bill O’Reilly Ends Up On The Wrong Side Of This Court Case

Family values have always seemed important to Bill O’Reilly. In fact, he cares so much that he will even go after the likes of Beyonce to protect our children from her sexy videos. Unfortunately for the host of the “O’Reilly Factor,” a New York appeals court did not see O’Reilly’s family values the same as he apparently does.

As reported by Liberal America and Gawker in 2015, O’Reilly allegedly assaulted his now ex-wife, Maureen McPhilmy, by:

“…dragging her by the neck down a staircase – in front of their young daughter.”

Now the Fox host has finally been denied the role of sole decision maker of his 12-year-old son and 16-year-old daughter by the courts. According to the New York Daily News:

“There is sound and substantial basis for the Supreme Court’s determination that it is in the best interest of the children for the mother to be awarded primary residential custody,” the four-judge Appellate Division panel wrote.”

They go on to report that:

“Particularly relevant in this case are the clearly stated preferences of the children, especially considering their age and maturity, and the quality of the home environment provided by the mother.”

While O’Reilly still gets to share joint authority with his ex-wife over the children, the fact that the children chose not to be with him had to sting a little. If his everyday life demeanor is anything like his television persona, do you blame them? At least us at home can turn the channel and get rid of him.

As for the family values that O’Reilly is always screaming about, this isn’t exactly the best way to set an example. This is an employee of Fox News though. One has to know that what he says and what he means are two different things.

While the allegation against O’Reilly are not at all funny, check out these entertaining thoughts about the incident and O’Reilly in general.
