Caitlyn Jenner Wants To Be ‘Trans Ambassador’ For Ted Cruz, The Guy Who Calls Transpeeps Sexual Predators

Oh, goodie. Caitlyn Jenner is at it again. She is not backing down in her unwavering support of the GOP’s “traditional values.” She has been against marriage equality until very recently (and even now, she is probably still secretly against it).

With the race to the ballot in November, she is now weighing in on who she likes as a candidate. Her choice, to the complete bafflement of, well, everybody, is Ted Cruz. She has said:

“I like Ted Cruz. I think he’s very conservative and a great constitutionalist and a very articulate man.”

Whatever you say, Caitlyn.

In the same interview, she admitted that Cruz is “probably one of the worst ones when it comes to trans issues.” At least she isn’t deluding herself about that. Although trying to figure which of the GOP candidates is the worst when it comes to LGBT issues is like trying to decide which type of bean makes you fart the most. (And in both cases, it’s a sh*tty situation.)

Caitlyn then volunteers herself as “trans ambassador” to Cruz when he is president, in order to help him out with his egregious trans ignorance (my words, not hers).

The only problem with this idea is that Ted Cruz doesn’t want anything to do with trans folks. He thinks they’re gross:

“Now listen: I’m the father of two daughters, and the idea that the federal government is coming in saying that boys, with all the god-given equipment of boys, can be in the shower room with junior high girls – this is lunacy!”

To clinch his argument, he adds that his “five-year-old knows there’s a difference between boys and girls. And yet modern Leftists can’t figure that out.”

Since Cruz will never make it to the White House (and thus will never have Caitlyn Jenner as his “trans ambassador”), I’ll help clear some things up for him.

Hey Ted, you and I have a couple of things in common. I was born in Regina, Canada; a mere 400 miles from where you were born in Calgary, Canada. (By the way, that’s where I live now, and suffice it to say, we both wish you hadn’t been born here!) I am also a parent of two daughters, although mine aren’t horrified at the notion of giving me a hug.

But here’s where we differ: I look at evidence, and there is none that trans girls are a threat to our kids, Ted. The main threat to girls’ and women’s safety in washrooms is cis boys and men! So instead of trying to limit the rights of a vulnerable group, why don’t you focus your blithering against rape culture instead? That would seem to be the most effective way to protect our daughters.

Also, if you are relying on your five-year-old daughter’s understanding of things, your worldview will be pretty limited. Dude, she probably still thinks that Santa is a real person!

Alright, Caitlyn, I think that’s probably the gist of what you were going to tell him. I think it’s probably fair to say that he wants to hear from you as much as he wants to hear from me, so maybe it’s just time to stop trying to pretend that the GOP wants to hear from either of us.
