Fiorina Says She Won’t Vote For Trump, But Those Who Do Are Not ‘Racists, Crazy, Or Stupid’

When she dropped out of the GOP race for the White House, I was so hoping that Carly Fiorina would completely disappear off the radar screen, but she keeps turning up like a bad penny, and is much less welcome than that proverbial coin.

Fiorina spoke yesterday at CPAC, and said she would not be voting from Donald Trump if he wound up being the Republican nominee, but then she attempted to defend those who do support Trump like the slavish, mindless lemmings they are. Here’s part of Carly’s speech, as tweeted out by Buzzfeed reporter Katharine Miller:

Don’t you just love how Fiorina says one thing, but then says the opposite two seconds later? And she wonders why people feel conned? Maybe part of it lies in the most basic issue of all, economics. People feel conned and betrayed because they work harder and harder but don’t get ahead because big corporations and megadonors like the Koch brothers have rigged the political system with billions of dollars in contributions to those in Congress.

Donald Trump is not the solution, he is part of the problem. For decades, he has thrown money at candidates so he can get favorable treatment when legislation is written. To put him in charge of the entire country would be like letting the fox guard the hen-house. Rapacious, predatory businessmen like Trump are the very reason this country has the greatest wealth disparity in its history.

Fiorina is also to blame. On her watch at Hewlett-Packard, she laid off thousands, drove the company into the ground, and then escaped the devastation she had wrought with a multi-million dollar golden parachute.

Conned? Betrayed? If Carly Fiorina wants to know what it means to be conned, she need look no further than a mirror.
