Psychic Donald Trump Predicted In 2011 That A Loaf Of Bread Would Cost $25 ‘Pretty Soon’

In a 2011 interview on NewsMax.tv uncovered by BuzzFeed, Donald Trump was asked if he agreed with billionaire investor George Soros that the economic recovery was temporary:

“If by the question, you mean, he’s thinks that it’s going to get worse, I would say that he possibly is right. If oil prices are allowed to inflate and keep inflating, if the dollar keeps going down in value — which is not good because you’re going to pay $25 for a loaf of bread pretty soon… So, if he thinks things are going to get worse by the way he phrased that…I think there’s a very distinct possibility that things could get worse, yes.”

Well, not quite. Seems Trump outdid himself with that fantasy. The average cost of a loaf of bread today is $2.32. His ignorance isn’t surprising; we’d bet good money that this billionaire has never stepped foot in a supermarket (or ate at a Pizza Hut or flown coach, like Bernie Sanders).

And that economic recovery, he thought, was temporary? It wasn’t. The economy, though not 100 percent, hasn’t stalled since 2011, and 2016 may even be the year wage growth, a key indicator of recovery, starts to accelerate, according to FiveThirtyEight.

“The unemployment rate is at or near what most economists consider ‘full employment,’ the point at which nearly everyone who wants a job either has one or can find one quickly. If economists are right, wage growth should soon start to accelerate.”

Good news, because you’re gonna need all that cash to buy a loaf of Trump Bread.
