Do You Remember That Time Dick Cheney Heaped Praise On Hillary Clinton?

We all know former Vice President Dick Cheney as the mouth-breathing, war-hawking troglodyte with an itchy trigger finger. He’s a conservative man’s conservative, a Halliburton puppeteer, and shrewd on foreign policy to the point where he’s not afraid to browbeat Pakistani leaders,” as well as commit war crimes, in the name of national security.

We would expect a conservative the likes of Dick Cheney to sacrifice a hippie to Republican God so as to destroy all the liberals and the Democrats. Hence why it was so shocking, in 2011, when Darth Vader gave praise to Hillary Clinton. On Fox News, of all places.

At the time, Birdshot McShooterson was busy promoting his memoir, In My Time: A Personal and Political Memoir, and staunchly defending his time in the Bush Administration. Sensing an opportunity to invade the televisions of older Americans with Obama-hating rhetoric courtesy of former President George W. Bush’s second-in-command, the misinformation junkies at Fox News asked Mr. Cheney whether the Democrats would have been better off with Hillary Clinton as their candidate in 2012 over the incumbent President Obama.

Of President Obama, Mr. Cheney regurgitated the same crap Fox had peddled ad nauseum. On the other hand, of Mrs. Clinton, Mr. Cheney was a little kinder.

“I have a sense that she’s one of the more competent members of the current administration and it would be interesting to speculate about how she might perform were she to be president.”

When pressed, Mr. Cheney wouldn’t say that Mrs. Clinton would have made a better president if given the choice between her and President Obama. But he did comment that “perhaps she might have been easier for some of us who are critics of the president to work with.”

At least, that’s what we think he was saying behind the incoherent grunts.

Robert could go on about how he was raised by honey badgers in the Texas Hill Country, or how he was elected to the Texas state legislature as a 19-year-old wunderkind, or how he won 219 consecutive games of Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots against Hugh Grant, but those would be lies. However, Robert does hail from Lewisville, Texas, having been transplanted from Fort Worth at a young age. Robert is a college student and focuses his studies on philosophical dilemmas involving morality, which he feels makes him very qualified to write about politicians. Reading the Bible turned Robert into an atheist, a combative disposition toward greed turned him into a humanist, and the fact he has not lost a game of Madden football in over a decade means you can call him "Zeus." If you would like to be his friend, you can send him a Facebook request or follow his ramblings on Twitter.
