California Senator Barbara Boxer is quite familiar with Carly Fiorina, who was announced as Ted Cruz’s VP choice yesterday. In 2010, Boxer beat Cruz in the California Senate race by double digits, starting what would become a string of losses by Fiorina when she attempted to gain political office.
Shortly after the announcement yesterday of Fiorina as Veep candidate, Senator Boxer took to Twitter and absolutely obliterated both Cruz and Fiorina:
