Trump Loses His Sh*t On Live TV Over His Tax Return

Donald Trump has refused to make his tax returns public. Mitt Romney seems to think there may be a reason for that. During the 2012 race, Romney was dogged for not releasing his tax returns. Trump fired back saying that Romney was the worst candidate in Republican history. Romney thinks there might be some kind of bombshell hidden in Trump’s returns. It might be that he pays too little taxes or that he overestimates his wealth.

At this point in the election, candidates usually make their tax returns public. Trump said this on Good Morning America this morning:

“You learn very little from tax returns, but nevertheless, as soon as the audit is complete, I’ll release them.”

Here is more of Trump’s temper tantrum:

“It’s none of your business! You’ll see it when I release. I fight very hard to pay as little taxes as possible. This country wastes our money. They take our tax money, and they throw it down the drain.”

Here is more of what he had to say about the audit:

“When the audit ends I’m going to present them. That should be before the election. I hope it’s before the election. But when the audit ends I’ve had even journalists say that, no, nobody should give until audits are over, I’ve had journalists say that.”

You can find an archive of the tax returns from former presidents and the current candidates on this website. Technically, the tax returns are private information and are protected by law. However, most presidents and candidates have been releasing their tax returns since the 1970s.

He said his finances are “extraordinary,” according to him. He vaguely promises that he will release them at some point.
