DERP! Ohio School Uses Video From Islamic Cult To Teach Creationism (WITH VIDEO)

A school district in Youngstown, Ohio, decided to use a video as a way of teaching creationism to children, and apparently they didn’t bother to check and see who produced the video.

The video, entitled “Cambrian Fossils and the Creation of Species,” claims that it completely refutes the theory of evolution, but school officials are now scrambling to explain why they have allowed a video made by an Islamic sex cult to be used in public schools.

The video is “based on the works of Harun Yahya,” an Islamic televangelist and leader of a bizarre Islamic sex cult.

As The Daily Beast reports:

“Harun Yahya… is a pseudonym for Adnan Oktar, a creationist cult leader and Islamic televangelist who owns Turkey’s A9 TV channel. On Oktar’s A9 channel, a group of women in tight-fitting designer clothes and dyed blonde hair help him promote Islam and attack evolution, all the while calling him ‘master.’ Oktar refers to the women as his ‘kittens,’ and he is known to ‘offer [his kittens’] beauty as evidence of Islamic creationism.’”

Yahya is also a well-known denier of the Holocaust who wrote a book on the topic, “The Holocaust Deception: The Hidden Story of Nazi-Zionist Collaboration and the Inner Story of the Hoax of ‘Jewish Holocaust.'”

When contacted for comment on the use of the video, school officials refused to speak on the record, but one expects the video will most likely be quietly placed in a closet or drawer somewhere and not shown again. Or at least once can hope that’s what happens to it.

If you’d like to see the video for yourself and don’t object to having your intelligence insulted, here it is for your viewing pleasure:
