Trump Responds To British PM David Cameron: ‘I’m Not Stupid, OK?’

Despite copious evidence to the contrary, GOP front-runner Donald Trump told a British television show that no matter what Prime Minister David Cameron says, he’s not stupid.

Speaking to “Good Morning Britain,” Trump remarked:

“Number one, I’m not stupid, OK? I can tell you that right now — just the opposite. Number two, in terms of divisive, I don’t think I’m a divisive person. I’m a unifier, unlike our president now I’m a unifier.”

Trump made his comments in response to Cameron saying that Trump’s proposal to ban Muslims from entering the United States was “divisive, stupid and wrong.”

While he was at it, Trump also decided to try and sour the close relationship that exists between the United States and Great Britain by adding:

“It looks like we’re not going to have a very good relationship.”

Additionally, the new mayor of London, Sadiq Khan–a Muslim–said Trump’s comments were “ignorant,” which led Trump to tell “Good Morning Britain” that he’s not so sure about Khan:

“When he won I wished him well — now, I don’t care about him. Let’s see how he does, I mean let’s see if he’s a good mayor.

“Tell him I will remember those statements, they’re very nasty statements.”

Consider for a moment that this man wants to run American foreign policy, and yet he’s busy trying to pick a fight with one of our dearest friends and allies in the world. Can you possibly imagine the damage this tiny handed vulgarian would inflict on every single relationship we have in the international world? Trump has also questioned the value of the NATO alliance and suggested it might be a good idea for the United States to exit NATO.

Additionally, Trump has steadfastly refused to rule out the use of nuclear weapons in both Europe and the Middle East. Does that sound like someone who should be given the nuclear codes?

Each and every day, Donald Trump proves repeatedly why is unfit to even be in the same zip code as the White House.
