The crash of EgyptAir Flight 804 was just a few hours old when Donald Trump took to Twitter and began placing blame for something he has no evidence or proof of. In other words, he reverted to Neanderthal Trump man and posted this:
Looks like yet another terrorist attack. Airplane departed from Paris. When will we get tough, smart and vigilant? Great hate and sickness!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 19, 2016
Guess who else has said it’s terrorism? The Russian government. Trump trusts the Russians because he has a man crush on Vladimir Putin and would love to be able to assassinate reporters who criticize him, just as Putin has done on multiple occasions.
In addition to Trump, his Hallelujah Chorus on social media also joined the debate, supporting their demigod with their ignorance in the form of tweets:
don't let them berate you out of the Muslim ban. This is an existential war. We need to be tough!

If we don't do something soon, this problem will infest America!

Experts say bomb most likely smuggled on board #EgyptAir at Paris airport. 'Hug a Muslim' didn't stop more terror. Imagine my shock.

#EgyptAir. Why western people fly with those muslim airline? Paris airport always a mess. Avoid both.

Now imagine that Trump was President and something like the crash of a plane happened. Let’s even say it was a flight with Americans aboard. Who would he attack first? Would he use nuclear weapons on random countries in the Middle East that might have had a hand in the act? Or would he just direct that our fighter jets begin shooting down all foreign airliners?
Even if it turns out the loss of this plane was terrorism–and that is always a possibility–the President of the United States cannot be making statements before all of the facts are in. Acting in such a manner is detrimental to the country and to our allies around the globe.
Donald Trump is a clear and present danger to the safety and security of the United States and the world, and he must be stopped. In November, we all get a chance to put an end to this menace.
