Dear RWNJs: Homosexuality IS Natural And Other Species Practice It Too (VIDEO)

Many Christians believe that homosexuality in the human species goes against nature. Anti-LGBT groups say marriage should only occur between a man and a woman. After the Supreme Court ruled same-sex marriage legal, Republicans have fought to stop it. Ted Cruz actually said that he will make same-sex marriage mandatory.

Are these unions unnatural? Are we the only species that practices same sex mating or relationships?

Nope. There are over 1,000 other species that engage in same-sex mating. Evangelical Christians and others who don’t agree with same-sex unions argue that the only purpose of intercourse is to reproduce.

Many species have sex without reproducing. It has many health benefits for all of us, according to Patheos:

“Various studies have found that it: improves one’s ability to deal with stress; lowers blood pressure; boosts antibody production; burns calories; reduces the chance of a heart attack; improves self-esteem; deepens intimacy; builds trust; makes one more generous; raises pain tolerance; reduces the risk of prostate cancer; reduces incontinence; improves sleep; stabilizes the menstrual cycle; improves bone and muscle health; keeps one’s skin looking more youthful; promotes longevity; improves tissue repair; reduces cholesterol; reduces depression; increases creativity; improves flexibility; relieves nasal congestion; heightens the sense of smell and taste; slows tooth decay; protects against osteoporosis; protects against Alzheimer’s; helps prevent endometriosis; alleviates arthritis pain; lessens cramps; reduces the risk of breast cancer; increases confidence; reduces risk of stroke; and boosts energy.”

Another big issue here is whether homosexuality is a choice or not. We are looking for a genetic cause.

Some people say that since the “gay gene” hasn’t been found, then homosexuality must be a choice. However, many conditions and traits are not caused by one single gene.

A study published by the Science journal that shows that homosexual preferences can run in families. Two homosexual brothers are likely to have similarities in their X chromosome; they call this Xq28.

Your environment also plays a big role in your sexual preferences. Most importantly, there is nothing wrong with homosexuality.

Here is the awesome Bill Nye talking about this issue:
