#ConservativeBecause Is Setting Twitter On Fire With Conservatives And Liberals

The conservatives on Twitter started a hashtag, #ConservativeBecause, and it became a success. But not in the way they wanted.

It was supposed to be geared toward millennial women. TechTarget defines millennial as:

“The term millennials is usually considered to apply to individuals who reached adulthood around the turn of the 21st century. The precise delineation varies from one source to another, however Neil Howe and William Strauss, authors of the 1991 book Generations: The History of America’s Future, 1584 to 2069, are often credited with coining the term. Howe and Strauss define the millennial cohort as consisting of individuals born between 1982 and 2004.”

The group Future Female Leaders started this hashtag. It was mentioned on Red Alert Politics. They said that the Future Female Leaders made this Twitter post:

“As conservatives, we may not see eye to eye on every issue, but at the end of the day we can agree on the same core principals that make up our party’s platform. FFL has always strived to give our audience their own voice which is why this month we would like you to begin telling your story. Use the hashtag #ConservativeBecause, and tell us where it all began for you with a tweet, video, or picture. Why are you a conservative?”

I guess they feel like they are not being heard despite having the majority in congress and all of the news coverage since the orange candidate is always on the news. I honestly don’t understand how any woman could vote conservative, it just blows my mind.

At first, the hashtag was succeeding in the stated mission:

Then many smartasses in the Twittersphere joined in on this trend, and it’s hilarious:

They used their sarcasm to point out RWNJ stupidity.

Good one!

Somebody needs to poke fun at the ammosexuals:

This is absolutely perfect:

Thank you, smart people of Twitter, for trolling these conservative assholes.

Here is a video from a Conservative channel asking if they should shut down their Twitter account (My answer is yes.):
