Having decided that it would be a good idea to try and counter the argument made against him by the parents of Army Captain Humayun Khan at the Democratic National Convention, Donald Trump has now added insult to injury and is daring to say that he too has sacrificed for his country.
Appearing on ABC’s “This Week,” the Orange Menace declared:
“I think I’ve made a lot of sacrifices. I work very, very hard.”
How this equates to the sacrifice Captain Khan made when he gave his life in service to his country is a mystery, but social media created a new hashtag to deal with this ludicrous assertion by Trump, #TrumpSacrifices. Here’s some of what you can see if you go to Twitter:

Clearly, Trump has stepped into a hornet’s nest with his latest comments, and as his poll numbers continue to decline, we can at least take comfort in one fact: Donald Trump will self-destruct long before November even gets here.
