Trump Spokesperson Tries To Blame Obama For Death Of Captain Khan, Gets Mocked Mercilessly (VIDEO)

If, like me, you thought the Trump campaign could not possibly stoop any lower or attempt to insult the intelligence of millions of Americans and further, then you forgot the Pierson Factor. Pierson as in Katrina Pierson, the designated spokesperson for Trump who appeared on CNN Tuesday and attempted to blame President Obama for the death of Captain Humayun Khan, whose parents appeared at the Democratic convention last week to offer a stern rebuke to the Orange Menace for his proposed ban on Muslims entering the United States.

According to Pierson, President Obama is directly responsible for the death of Captain Khan, even though Khan was killed in Iraq in 2004, four years before Obama became President:

What in the hell is this brain dead excuse of a human being talking about? A soldier dies in a war conceived and carried out by George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, but it’s the fault of a man who voted against the Iraq War when he was the Senator from Illinois? That is some tortured logic indeed!

But something good did come out of Pierson’s bizarre theory: a new hashtag on Twitter, #KatrinaPiersonHistory. Here’s a sampling of the fun already being had at Pierson’s expense:
