The “ick factor” in the Trump Campaign just keeps on growing. Just when you think the people around the candidate couldn’t possibly become more petty, more small minded, more nasty, they sink to a new low.
The latest episode of mean spirited bullying comes from none other than former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski.
You remember him, I’m sure. He was the guy who was charged with assault for grabbing and shoving a female reporter who tried to ask the candidate a question. He became well known for his vicious verbal attacks on other campaign staffers.
Eventually, his bad behavior forced Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump to remove him as campaign manager and send him on his way.
On his way to CNN, where he now serves as a Trump apologist and lapdog.
The Independent Journal reports that Lewandowski took his bullying behaviors to Twitter.
The loud mouth took to social media to spread the word that his replacement, Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, is being investigated for alleged ties to pro-Russian politicians in the Ukraine.

Hoo, boy! Throw your rival right under that bus, Corey! Way to go. You give new meaning to the word “loyalty.”
The internet lit right up after Corey’s nasty post. Some folks were shocked and confused. Some people were happy to see that the Trump campaign is continuing its descent into pure chaos.

Reports are that Trump was less than pleased with his former lackey, and told him to undo the damage. Taking a page right out of Trump’s own playbook, Lewandowski immediately tried to pretend that he had only tweeted the story to show just how biased the media is against the Trump campaign.

Hahahaha! I am sure that there must be one guy in the back woods of Arkansas who believes that. The rest of us, though, know that once again we have proof that the eminently self-centered Trump has surrounded himself with like-minded folks.
It will be interesting to see how the investigation of Manafort’s connection to the Ukraine plays itself out. It will be even more interesting to see how Trump handles the arm wrestling and mudslinging of his minions.
