Well, so much for the so called “liberal bias” in the mainstream media.
RawStory reports that when Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump fired his first campaign manager, it was just a fake move. You know, kind of a lie.
Like pretty much everything else Trump has done and said in this campaign.
It turns out that the most recent Federal Communications Commission (FCC) report shows that former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski was paid $20,000 by the campaign for the month of July.
Lewandowski was Trump’s first campaign manager, but he was fired after his boorish, bullying actions caused him to fall out of favor with campaign insiders.
He was replaced by Paul Manafort, who was reported to be upset with the fact that Lewandowski still had an informal role as an adviser to Trump. Poor Manafort. He hated the fact that someone so disreputable was working for the campaign.
That was before he was fired himself. He is being investigated by both U.S. and Ukrainian forces for his ties to the Putin regime.
So back to Lewandowksi. The man who is still being paid by Trump also has a new job as a conservative commentator on CNN. Meaning, of course, that he should be at least nominally unbiased as he talks about the election.
How can @CNN still employ Lewandowski when he is still on the Trump payroll?

Now we know that while appearing on the news network he is still on the payroll of the Trump campaign. Gee. Just a little dishonest and misleading, don’t you think?
The campaign claims that the money represents severance pay for the fired Lewandowski, but it is actually the same salary that he was paid while serving as campaign manager.
Maybe CNN is hoping to finally shake off that claim of liberal bias. Maybe it knowingly hired a Trump campaign guy and pretended that he was an independent commentator.
How does the Trump campaign reconcile this situation with its claims of media bias? How does it explain paying Lewandowski after firing him, and after knowing that he is working for CNN?
I have a theory.
Its called lying .
