Another RICH Republican Refuses Trump – Vows To Support Hillary Instead (VIDEO)

Another prominent, rich Republican has refused to support her party’s nominee Donald Trump. She is a reliable donor and has denounced The Orange Menace.

Meg Whitman, the billionaire chief executive officer of Hewlett-Packard, said:

“I urge all Republicans to reject Donald Trump this November.”

During the primary, she supported New Jersey’s Republican Governor Chris Christie. When Christie dropped out, she refused to support Trump.

On Tuesday, Whitman made her first appearance on behalf of the Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton at a business leaders’ meeting in Colorado. She urged her audience to contribute to Clinton:

“Hillary would do a far better job in creating jobs and for our economy, [and she has] as the three C’s — ‘compassion, commitment and courage.’”

She said that she will turn back to the Republican party after this year. She wants to help reunite the party after all of the damage that Trump has done. She thinks that many high-up Republicans are declining to support Trump because of his extreme policy ideas.

She referred to Trump as a “demagogue” and said:

“Time and again history has shown that when demagogues have gotten power or come close to getting power, it usually does not end well.”

She aptly said that Trump has “undermined the character” of our country.

Whitman pointed out that she may disagree with some of Clinton’s ideas, but Trump would not be a good president.

She posted this on Facebook last month:

The full post reads:

“As a proud Republican, casting my vote for President has usually been a simple matter. This year is different. To vote Republican out of party loyalty alone would be to endorse a candidacy that I believe has exploited anger, grievance, xenophobia and racial division. Donald Trump’s demagoguery has undermined the fabric of our national character.”

“Trump’s reckless and uninformed positions on critical issues – from immigration to our economy to foreign policy – have made it abundantly clear that he lacks both the policy depth and sound judgment required as President. Trump’s unsteady hand would endanger our prosperity and national security. His authoritarian character could threaten much more.”

“Therefore, I have decided to support Hillary Rodham Clinton. It is clear to me that Secretary Clinton’s temperament, global experience and commitment to America’s bedrock national values make her the far better choice in 2016 for President of the United States. In a tumultuous world, America needs the kind of stable and aspirational leadership Secretary Clinton can provide. I urge all Republicans to reject Donald Trump this November.”
