WATCH: Trump Attacks US Foreign Policy On Russian Propaganda Channel

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump did an interview with Larry King on Russia Today. Larry King began working for Russia Today back in 2013. The network is run by the Russian government.

It has cable, satellite, and online broadcasts. They use this to project a better image to those of us who watch from other countries.

King asked Trump what he thought of the political process, and Trump had to rail on the media… again. He said:

“Well, I think the dishonesty of the media. The media has been unbelievably dishonest. I mean they’ll take a statement that you make which is perfect and they’ll cut it up and chop it up and shorten it or lengthen it or do something with it.”

He continued:

“And all of a sudden it doesn’t look as good as it did when you actually said it. But there’s tremendous dishonesty with the media. Not all of it, obviously, but tremendous dishonesty.”

The topic gravitated to the Iraq War again. Donald Trump is still blaming Obama for not getting us out of the war. King actually corrected Trump on this one. He pointed out the fact that former President George W. Bush set up that timeline before he left office.

After blaming Obama, King said:

“The timetable was arranged by Bush for the leaving.”

Then, Trump said:

“Well, you know what, Larry. I’ll tell you what, let’s look to the future.”

He, of course, started talking about how Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is not qualified for the job.

Next, the topic shifted towards immigration. King asked:

“Let’s get something clear, because I’ve known you a long time. What are your feelings about Mexican immigrants? What in your gut do you feel about this?”

Trump suspiciously dropped the phone call after that. I’m impressed to see someone actually correcting Trump in a lie, but it’s a shame it took someone working for a Russian outlet to do it.

I hope more news anchors and reporters correct The Donald.
