By now I’m assuming you have heard that Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump had his first nationals security briefing.
I’m also assuming that you know how the mega mouthed candidate immediately broke his oath to keep the proceedings private. At NBC News’ “Commander in Chief Forum” Trump was asked if he had learned anything in his briefing that might change his opinion about what he could truly accomplish if he were to become President. Host Matt Lauer asked if, for example, had anything made Trump reconsider his promise to quickly defeat ISIS?
The Big Orange Blowhard said this:
“No, I didn’t learn anything from that standpoint. What I did learn is that our leadership, Barack Obama, did not follow what our experts, and our — truly, when they call it intelligence, it’s there for a reason — what our experts said to do. And I was very, very surprised. In almost every instance, and I could tell — I’m pretty good with the body language — I could tell they were not happy. Our leaders did not follow what they were recommending.”
The overwhelming ridiculousness of this statement is breathtaking.
In the first place, Donald Trump isn’t even remotely accomplished in oral communication. He can’t seem to complete a sentence or find the exact word that he wants when he talks. He doesn’t seem to understand what he is told, if even half of his comments are accurate.

The Huffington Post reports that CIA Director John Brennan is more than a little annoyed at candidate Trump and his “body language” interpretation. In fact, he sounded furious as he talked with CBS Newsman Brian Dickerson. He told Dickerson that he knows the briefers who were in the room with both of the candidates. He called them the ultimate professionals.
He said:
“We don’t comment on policy. We don’t give policy recommendations. So I am fully confident that they comported themselves with the utmost professionalism and demonstrated their real breadth and depth of intelligence capabilities.”
So as you can see, Mr. Trump must have lied about the body language of the professionals in the briefing room. They couldn’t have been unhappy with the President’s reaction to their policy suggestions since they don’t make any policy suggestions.
And the consistently tone deaf responses of Donald Trump, who doesn’t understand the feelings of anyone on earth, certainly did not “read” the body language of the quintessentially neutral CIA professionals.
Donald Trump is simply trying, once again, to prove himself smarter and more clever than anyone else around him. What a complete tool.
I am so beyond disgusted with the flapping gums of Donald Trump. At this point if the man told me that his name is Donald, I would assume he was lying.
What a jerk.
Brennan is not the only CIA director to slam Trump.
