Republican John Kasich: Trump Owes President Obama An Apology For Birther Bullsh*t! (VIDEO)

Ohio governor and former Republican presidential candidate, John Kasich, has a message for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

Kasich says The Donald owes President Barack Obama an apology for spreading around that birther BS. These were the rumors that Obama is a secret Muslim and that he wasn’t born in this country. When asked, Kasich said that Trump owes the president an apology for all of those mean rumors.

The Hill reported that Kasich said:

“That’s what we ought to be alarmed by. There was tremendous hatred being directed at George W. Bush, you know, that he needed to be impeached and all these insane things.”

“…And that same anger has moved on to Barack Obama. And it’s going to move on to whoever should win this election. We ought to be alarmed with the drift in this country away from what’s best for our nation and not what’s best for me as I, you know, vent my anger or frustration.”

Trump, of course, had to gloat about Kasich losing. Apparently, the candidates were supposed to sign a pledge saying that they would support the eventual nominee. Kasich, Ted Cruz, and a few others didn’t sign it. Trump said:

“Now … there were three or four of them that didn’t honor it, and the reason they didn’t honor it is [because] they got beaten so badly.”

Out of all of the Republican clown car of candidates, I thought Kasich was one of the more reasonable ones.

Back in June, he said that he can’t support Trump as the nominee. He told MSNBC’s Joe Scarbrough:

“You know, it’s painful. It’s painful. You know, people even get divorces, you know? I mean, sometimes, things come out that, look, I’m sorry that this has happened. But we’ll see where it ends up. I’m not making any final decision yet, but at this point, I just can’t do it.”
