That’s right – former president George H.W. Bush has just admitted that he will be ‘with her’ on election day, November 8 this year. He disclosed this information to Kathleen (Hartington) Kennedy Townsend, the daughter of the late Robert F. Kennedy, and former Maryland lieutenant governor, although his spokesperson will not confirm or deny the endorsement.
Kathleen is known as Kathleen Hartington on social media. Like her famous Kennedy family, she is a Democrat and she has posted the picture of her meeting with former president Bush, proudly captioned the photo them together with the text:
“The President told me he’s voting for Hillary!!”
Liberal America has reported before that the Bushes would not be voting for Trump.
Of course, the Bush family would have no doubt supported Jeb Bush (dubbed low-energy by Trump) until he was ousted along the campaign trail, and officially during the Republican nominations.
What does this say about the current Republican nominee? What does the fact that a former Republican president would rather vote for Hillary Clinton, a Democrat, instead of her rival Donald Trump, a Republican?
It says a hell of a lot.
It says that like millions of Americans, he too does not want the country to become swept up by fear and racism. It says that even Republicans can see how dangerous Trump really is. It shows that people with any reason can see that voting for a president is not a reality show.
A former president knows how dangerous it would be, to give the kind of power, to the likes of Donald Trump. There is a reason that even prominent Republicans are choosing Hillary over Donald.
As Obama has said over and over – there has not ever been a man or a woman more qualified to be President of the United States than Hillary Clinton.
Even former Republican presidents on the other side of politics know this.
