Don King and Donald Trump have a lot in common. They’re both named Donald, they both have outrageous hair, they put business before family, and they both have murdered someone.
Okay, maybe Trump hasn’t murdered anyone, but would anyone be surprised to find out he did? Of course, he’d most likely have to hire someone to do the killing for him, because those small hands of his aren’t capable of wrapping around someone’s neck.
The point I’m trying to make here is that the relationship between King and Trump makes perfect sense. They belong together (in hell) and on Wednesday morning in Ohio, the two joined together. The 85-year-old boxing promoter/murderer introduced Trump at an event in a church in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
During the introduction, King went on some incoherent rant about, well, we don’t know what the heck it was about. He might as well have been describing the differences between an Egg McMuffin and a McGriddle.
“I told Michael Jackson, I said, if you are poor, you are a poor Negro — I would use the N-word — if you are rich, you are a rich Negro.”
From there, he continued to offer up examples of all the different “Negro” options one could be, and then he ~slipped~ up by saying:
“If you are a talented intellectual, you are an intellectual Negro. If you are a dancing and sliding and gliding nigger.”
The reaction from Trump was pretty disgusting. You can see him in the background just smiling and laughing away, as if King just told the world’s most hilarious knock-knock joke.
It’s all so insane. The saddest thing about this whole thing is that it’s not surprising. You expect this behavior from Trump and his supporters. Nothing Trump does is shocking anymore, and that is extremely terrifying.
He can do and say anything he wants. His supporters love him because he has no filter and he’s not a politician, which is basically like saying you visit your barber for all your medical needs because he knows nothing about medicine.
