After Republican candidate Donald Trump’s sexist tweet rants at 3 o’clock this morning about Former Miss Universe Alicia Machado backlashed, Trump justified them by pointing out that at least he’s awake, and will be there for you to answer the call.
For those few people knocking me for tweeting at three o'clock in the morning, at least you know I will be there, awake, to answer the call!

But Senator Elizabeth Warren, previously referred to as “Pocahontas” by Trump to mock her Native American descent, didn’t buy into that. She responded to his tweet with a chain of tweets questioning how these early calls are serving our country, exactly? By finding new and interesting ways to call women fat, ugly and sluts?
Is this what keeps you up at night, @realDonaldTrump? Thinking of new & interesting ways to call women fat or ugly or sluts?

Warren did notice a lack of 3 a.m. tweets about helping students getting crushed by debts, or seniors struggling on Social Security.
You never tweet at 3am with ways to help students getting crushed by debt or seniors struggling on Social Security, @realDonaldTrump.

She also observed a lack of 3 a.m. tweets with ways to create new jobs for workers or hold Wall Street accountable.

This led Warren to conclude that what keeps Trump’s mind racing at night is his next racist, sexist tweets and disgusting lies.
Nope, @realDonaldTrump: the only things that keep your mind racing at night are your next racist, sexist tweets & disgusting lies.

To wrap it up, a thin-skinned bully who thinks humiliating women at 3 a.m. qualifies him to be President, does not understand America and is not fit to be our leader.

They were harsh words, but Trump’s offensive, revengeful and irrational attacks on women show no sign of slowing down. In fact, he’s doubling down on them. This obsession with judging women instead of, for example, preparing for a presidential debate, will hopefully open the eyes of fellow conservatives, and question the saneness of choosing a leader like Trump.
If not, well, this country will have a very hard time to recover after a Trump presidency.
