BREAKING: Trump Will Not Pursue Further Investigations Of Hillary Clinton

Throughout the 2016 campaign for the White House, Donald Trump vowed to investigate and prosecute Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email server and contributions to the Clinton Foundation. At one of the debates, he even told Clinton that should he win, she would be in prison.

But it now appears that Trump will not seek to further investigate his Democratic rival.

According to Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski, Trump does not plan to pursue the matter against Clinton because he feels as if the former Secretary of State has “been through enough.”

This latest report comes just a week after Trump told Lesley Stahl of 60 Minutes that he would think about the Clinton matter and:

“I’m gonna think about it. I don’t wanna hurt them. They’re good people.”

One cannot help but wonder what changed Trump’s mind. Might it be that he realizes he may also be facing multiple investigations of his actions as president in light of his complex business dealings in countries across the globe? There are already questions about the conflicts of interest which may arise during his tenure in the Oval Office.

Of course, the Clintons may not want to start celebrating. The ever mercurial President-elect could change his mind tomorrow and urge his Attorney General to move forward and not stop until an indictment has been secured. One never knows what is actually going on in the haunted corridors of Trump’s fevered brain.
