America officially screwed up this year when we elected an orange tyrant to be our next President of the United States. We are not the only ones who are shocked and ashamed by President-elect Donald Trump. Since he is being sworn in on Friday, here are some things that people from other countries have said about Trump:
1. Australia
Reporter Nicholas Stuart had this to say about the Inauguration:
“On Friday, America becomes a new country. That’s why it’s vital to carefully distinguish between what we have in common and what divides us. We are partners but this doesn’t mean we must follow where Trump leads. Particularly to conflict over the South China Sea. A strategic irrelevancy. Although some of our interests are shared many others, more than you think, are divergent. Trump speaks for Trump, not us. Get used to a new world order; the foundations are shifting.”
2. Spain
The Lavan Guardia reported:
“Trump received information directly from the main U.S. intelligence and security agencies, a meeting which was called to re-establish order after a few hectic days. The president-elect’s style is disconcerting and is still full of the many tics—and abundant tweets—from his months as an anti-establishment candidate.”
3. Germany
Norbert Roettgen, a member of Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and head of the German parliament’s foreign affairs committee said this about Trump:
“We’re realizing now that we have no idea what this American president will do if the voice of anger enters office and the voice of anger becomes the most powerful man in the world.”
It’s true. Trump has a quick Twitter finger. He is way too volatile to be fit for the Presidency. We are all concerned about what he will do. He can’t stand Alec Baldwin teasing him, so how is he going to handle foreign diplomats? Will he be grabbing their women?
Germans wake up to #ElectionNight results and Alptraum (nightmare) is trending on Twitter.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said this about it:
“Germany and America are connected by values of democracy, freedom, and respect for the law and the dignity of man. I offer the next president of the United States close cooperation on the basis of these values.”
4. France
French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said:
“Mr Trump, like others, has a hatred and amalgam: our only enemy is radical Islam.”
On the day after the election, a French newspaper showed a picture of Trump on the cover with the headline, “American Psycho.”
5. England
British Prime Minister David Cameron said this when talking about Trump’s proposed ban on Muslims entering the country:
“I think his remarks are divisive, stupid and wrong. If he came to our country, I think he would unite us all against him.”
Trump has pissed off a lot of people around the world. Let’s hope he doesn’t kill us all.
