On Friday, the American people will be swearing in a new president. President-elect Donald Trump is a manipulative liar, and he is going to subject America to psychological and emotional abuse. Here are some of the signs:
1. Name-Calling
He has already been doing that during his whole campaign. He called his own opponents stupid nicknames like “Crooked Hillary” and “Lyin’ Ted.” An abuser will call you names to try and make you feel bad about yourself.
Rosalind Wiseman, the author of Queen Bees and Wannabes, which inspired the movie Mean Girls, said:
“He’s absolutely operating as an intelligent, manipulative bully who truly does not care about the consequences of his actions. He delights in his own ability to manipulate and to show that nobody can stop him.”
Just wondering, can Trump speak (or tweet) without name calling or offensive language? He has no credibility & is not fit for office.

Donald Trump! Get real! You need to apologize to people for bullying them. Name calling is childish and having a thin skin unpresidential!

For a more recent example, here is Trump calling CNN’s Jim Acosta “fake news” during his press conference last week:
2. Isolating
During the campaign, Trump isolated the press in boxes during his many rallies. He put them in their own little area and spat insults at them during his speeches. He branded them “the enemy” and even yelled anti-Semitic insults at them. He even adopted the Nazi-inspired German insult, Lugenpresse, which translates to “lying press.”
Here is a taste of the insults he lobbed at the press during those speeches:
3. Excluding People From Important Events
Trump hates on the press in many ways. He is moving the Press Corps out of the White House. There are certain media outlets that Trump has banned. These include Buzzfeed, Univision, Politico, the Washington Post, and more.
He really wants to isolate us from the entire world; he is against immigrants. He doesn’t know what he is doing in the foreign policy department, likely because he doesn’t go to his briefings.
4. Imitating Or Mocking People
This is a classic tactic of abusers. They will insult or mock you or both. Then, if you say something, you might get told it was a joke. Trump is great at this. The incident that people are still talking about is when he mocked a disabled reporter.
Donald Trump is a con-man, and he will make a horrible president.
