Former CIA Director Leon Panetta is not impressed with President Donald Trump so far, at least when it comes to his agency. In an interview with CNN on Monday, Panetta called Trump’s speech to the intelligence agency inappropriate:

“I just got the impression when he was speaking there, that somehow, he forgot that he was President of the United States and was speaking to the intelligence officers that spend their lives trying to serve this country. That was not the appropriate place to start whining about what was happening in terms of numbers in the inauguration.”

Trump gave a speech at the CIA the day after his inauguration, where he referred to himself in the third person and claimed no one respected them more than he did. After that, he launched into a tirade complaining (yet again) about the media and disagreeing with their estimates on the inauguration turnout. Panetta was less than impressed at Trump’s posturing:

“To go off and start talking about the press, talking about how many people were at the inauguration, I just think frankly, that was not appropriate. I just think the President needs to understand, he’s President now. He’s not just a candidate, he doesn’t have to spend time embellishing himself or what he did, he’s President of the United States.”

It seems the businessman can’t stop himself from selling, even if America has already bought his pack of lies.

Of course someone has to jump to poor Donald’s aid. His friend and inauguration comittee chair Tom Barrack called the speech straight talk that appeals to voters.

Hint: Trump has already won. It’s time he get to that important job of actually being President of the United States, don’t you think?

Or else it is going to be a long four years.
